The Coop Luxury Picnics is a luxury Picnic business for any occasion. Owners Cully and Joelle have both worked in the wedding industry and we always knew that somewhere along the way we would want to incorporate a picnic-style elopement package, and we recently added the package! It’s just a fun and different way to have your wedding that we feel is still very new to the industry, but will become more popular when more people see how creative and beautiful it really looks.
Our couples pick the location, we do the rest! Microweddings include a ceremony and reception with low style picnic tables, ground seating, decor, small cake, all tableware, waters, and photography. Many add-ons are also available.
Cully loves family and friends, exploring new cities and staying at different Airbnbs, the beach, and concerts. “I love music and the experience of seeing musicians in person just makes their music that much better.”

Q: What’s a fun fact about yourself?
A: We are Cully and Joelle, sisters, and owners of The Coop. We are originally from Maryland and absolutely love anything beach! Our company is Veteran-Owned.
Q: What is your favorite thing about elopements?
A: An elopement is anything that you want it to be and that’s what makes it exciting and different. It doesn’t have to be your typical Wedding with all the details that everybody else has. But with an elopement, you can get everything that you want in a more cost-effective manner. The dress, the decor, and the scenery can be as unique or traditional as you want it to be. Your wedding day is really about the people you’re surrounded by, and being able to take that extra money and place it somewhere else for your future life events makes an elopement or micro wedding great!
Q: Is there a wedding detail on your bucket list?
A: A travel wedding either out of state or country.
Q: Tell us about your favorite elopement!
A: Our favorite event was our first picnic of 2023, which was a proposal. It was a super cold and windy day at the beach. Everything leading up to the proposal was so exciting and we actually got to see the proposal happen! It was so memorable and emotional to be a part of an occasion so special.
