From the first phone consultation with Royanna I knew she was joyful and optimistic, filled with life and looking for tomorrow! It comes as no surprise that she found her happy ending.
Her and Ronnie’s wedding was at Church of the Covenant in Spring Lake. This small church has been completely rebuilt in the last few years because of flooding that occurred during Hurricane Florence. A member of the congregation wanted to keep the memories continue the church in that same building, so donations were made to cover the costs of the revamp. And what fun, now that Ronnie and Royanna could add to that long list of memories.
I’m not sure whether to call this an intimate wedding or an elopement but honestly… labels don’t always matter. What does matter is that they had an amazing day celebrating their love and new family! This past October, Royanna’s son got married and they had a “big to-do” about it, and Royanna said she wanted something simple and small for her own wedding day.
While she got ready, she was chatting about the fact that most of her wedding day was purchased and primed with Amazon. Almost everything but the food and cake, which were provided by Publix, were “fulfilled” through Amazon.
I chatted with Royanna about if they were going on a honeymoon and she giggled. She said they kind of did things in a different order because of the coming holidays and already went on their honeymoon, a 10-day cruise, but Ronnie wanted to make their wedding night special so he booked them a fun short stint over to Myrtle Beach for a day, and she was tickled pink with her new husband’s desire to make it special!
It was such a joy to be a part of their family for their wedding day. It never is missed by me the huge honor it is to be chosen to capture someone’s wedding day!
