My husband, Christian, and I, Feroza, started this journey when we found a 1970 vintage two-horse trailer parked in a small town in Virginia, and we knew at that very moment that this was going to be one of our most special journeys together. We rebuilt and remodeled the bar ourselves, paying close attention to every detail. A little rustic and a little modern, Rolling Tavern was designed to add a unique visual element to any event. We want everyone who interacts with us and the bar to leave as our friend with a delicious drink in hand.

Our favorite part of being a wedding vendor is witnessing each couple’s unique love story and celebrating their love with them. A bar is part of most weddings or any celebration, from champagne toasts to serving mocktails and delicious cocktails to keep the celebration going, and during elopement weddings, couples can get creative with Rolling Tavern. We can serve drinks, display desserts and food trays, and can double as a beautiful backdrop for pictures – we can be a perfect addition to any elopement wedding.

Our favorite intimate wedding/elopement was recently when a couple had to opt for a celebration with a small close group of friends and family due to their venue canceling their wedding party. The couple had the celebration by a lake near their family home in Beaufort, North Carolina. Choosing a lake as their backdrop and beautiful clear skies made the day so special!

Christian and I also eloped for our marriage in downtown Durham with our close 6 friends and our two kids. Afterward, we reserved the pool house by our pool, we had our Mobile Bar serving drinks, had a caterer prepare special Latino and Pakistani meals, and hired an officiant to marry us + photographer to capture the moment. For us, it was truly an intimate and special way to celebrate our love and union.

This past Halloween, we had an elopement at this stunning venue called Catlett Farm, and we had the chance to actually get to know the incredible venue team and photographer. And the couple, their unique and warm love story brought tears to our eyes during the ceremony. We loved getting to know them at the consultation before and at their elopement. This is my why. This is why I love what we do… We have met such wonderful people through Rolling Tavern.
