Serving The Triad and Southern NC
I’m originally from Chicago, and I moved to Greensboro for college. My mother wanted my sister and me to grow up in another environment, and North Carolina made sense since my uncle already lived here. My favorite thing about North Carolina is the mountains. I love that you can visit the beach, islands, and mountains in the same state. I also love that I still get to experience snow here to remind me of home.
My journey into filmmaking started back in high school. I loved making short videos of my family, and I loved the feeling after I watched a good movie. I think telling a story and evoking emotion is how I was brought into weddings and elopements. With weddings/elopements, I’m focusing on the special moments from that day, but also on the couple’s love story.
My favorite part about being a vendor is the impact that I will have on the couple for years to come. As the videographer, I feel that I do more than just capture the couple on their wedding day. In marriage, you won’t always have good days, there will be some not-so-good days, and that’s where I come back in. I hope to uplift and bring the couple back to the day they said “I do.” I want them to feel and experience the joy of their marriage all over again – and hopefully make their not-so-good days better.
My dream clients are deeply-in-love couples who aren’t afraid to show how much they love each other. They’re also down for an adventure and a little spontaneity. I love seeing genuine laughter and happiness with my couples, and one trick that I use to invoke emotion and make the couple comfortable is by getting them to laugh by having one whisper something funny in the other person’s ear.

A: I would like to film an elopement in the mountains or at Yellowstone national park one day.
“Jessica did an absolutely breath taking job on our wedding video this year in Winston-Salem! She went above any beyond. Our wedding video is magical and we are so lucky we are able to watch it and cherish it forever! Coronavirus put a twist on many weddings this year and finding Jessica was a true blessing. We wanted our family and friends to feel included even though they physically weren’t present and Jessica seamlessly captured that! I would recommend Jessica to any future bride, you’d be lucky to have her as a vendor!”
