I have been a wedding and portrait photographer for 16 years. I love being able to take photos of my couple on their wedding day, and then their growing family afterward.

3 Things you Should Know About Christi Ann
On wedding days, I am very attentive to all the details. I am the type of person that is going to help in anyway possible. Need me to bustle your dress? Done! Need me to take something to another vendor? Absolutely!
When shooting photos I like to shoot for 3 generations. I take photos the grandparents will want, photos the parents will want, and then photos that the bride and groom want. I love to capture emotion at any possible time.
I love all things food. Raleigh has so many wonderful places, that I try to go to as many new places as possible. I am born and raised in this area, and I just cannot get over the growth. Pullen Park has some of my favorite memories growing up, specifically the train. I love that I now get to experience that same train with my own kiddos.
“Christi was the most wonderful photographer a bride could ask for. She comes with her own ideas and professional opinion on shots, but is also willing to work with the couple on what ideas they have as well. Our pictures turned out beautifully. She somehow is able to capture all of the special candid moments without seeming in the way or bothersome. She does a wonderful job!”

Q: What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
A: 13 years ago I got into a car accident and I was forever changed. Completely different person. I didn’t realize until 12 years after that I had a Traumatic Brain Injury. The doctor put it in my file, and just left it there. My therapist suggested I get my medical records back, and that’s how I found out. My whole world changed in that moment, and I try to bring as much awareness to concussions + brain injuries as possible. They change and effect so many aspects of your life that people don’t even realize.
Q: What is your favorite thing about elopements?
A: I love the creativity and the uniqueness it brings. I love when a couple gets to focus more on them on their wedding day, and not a crowd of friends and family. I love taking photos for exactly what people need where they are at. I often feel so privileged to be able to be among a selected amount of people for their big day. It means so much to be a part of that.
Q: Is there a wedding detail on your bucket list?
A: I am up for anything! I love seeing what others come up with.
Q: Tell us about your favorite elopement!
A: My favorite was a backyard wedding at their lake house. A private friend and chef made the food based on what they liked, and then their friends and family went on a twilight boat ride.
