Vibrant Modern Spring at The Maxwell
For our shoot, Vibrant Modern Spring at The Maxwell, Jillian and I wanted to create something that would represent us while working with vendors who had our same values. We also wanted to try and encourage brides to go bold with their colors while still staying traditional. We knew we wanted a real couple and were lucky enough to find Nick & Chrissy who currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Downtown Rocker Barcade Elopement
For some couples, concerts and live music play a significant role in their love story, whether they enjoy attending shows or are musicians themselves. When planning a wedding based around your love story, it’s like planning your best date ever, and for a couple whose story is more like a soundtrack, music can be the driving force behind your experience. At ElopeNC, we know there are couples who would love a private rock show with their closest friends, who want to celebrate their fun and playful side, who love color and neon and aren’t afraid to be their authentic, rock and roll selves. With these ideas in mind, we planned a Downtown Rocker Barcade Elopement styled shoot for our January 2022 ElopeNC event.
Surprise Vow Renewal at a Disco Styled Shoot
Originally this was a styled shoot, but after meeting with the model couple Carrie & Justin, I discovered they had been married for 10 years but never actually had a wedding. So we turned the styled shoot into a surprise elopement for them! We even invited her children and close family to witness. Carrie and Justin were so thankful for this surprise, and you could see their love for one another in each and every photo taken.
Pampas Grass & Sea Glass @ Caswell Beach
When folks think about eloping on the beach, they picture gorgeous sunsets, a light breeze, and comfortable weather. Some days you get lucky and everything falls into place – but more often than not, you may be faced with high sun and burning sand, crazy winds that knock over decor and tangle hair, or the dreaded afternoon rainstorm. Beach elopements simplify so many details involved in big weddings, but there’s no controlling the weather, especially on the Carolina Coast.
Retro Tropical Neon-Inspired Styled Shoot
This design was created during a Green Wedding Guild shoot. Planners who are a part of the Guild put together their own team to create a vision to execute. Bill Scott Pavilion was honored to be chosen as the host venue for what turned out to be such an eclectic shoot!
Vintage Patriotic Summer Elopement @ The Old Cotton Gin
When we think about summer in the south, our minds often drift to picking fresh fruit, celebrating the 4th of July, and finding a shady spot to read a good book and enjoy a perfect day. With these thoughts in mind, ElopeNC members collaborated to create a vintage patriotic summer elopement styled shoot at a dreamy Americana venue.
Limoncello Styled Shoot @ Bill Scott Pavilion
Maria’s limoncello theme was beautiful AND tasty! Maria setup a beautiful mock reception tablescape. We were so happy to see how each planner utilized the space and made it their own; the options are endless!
Starry Night at the Durham Convention Center
Our goal for this Starry Night styled shoot was to create a dreamy nighttime micro-wedding set outside under the stars. We chose a dark navy blue, silver, and gold for our colors to mirror a twinkling night sky. Model bride Gabby glistened in a sparkling wedding gown and an elegant up-do while groom Pyrion looked handsome in a fitted blue suit.
