3 Reasons Every Couple Should Invest in a Wedding Album

3 Reasons Every Couple Should Invest in a Wedding Album

When you hire a wedding photographer, their importance continues after the wedding day, since you’ll be eagerly awaiting your online gallery, not just to share with others but to experience your day all over again, through the eyes of an observer. Beyond your wedding itself, the photos are about preserving the special time you spent with the one you love and those people and moments that were worth enjoying on this important day.

The digital photos are great and are sure to be your most-liked social media posts of the year, but beyond the online experience, have you considered how you’ll keep and continue enjoying your images? In a few years, are you going to scroll back through your feed or pull out the old USB? At Anna Danielle Photography, we believe albums have so much value that they are included in every wedding collection we offer. Below are my Top 3 Reasons every couple should invest in a wedding album and why I believe these hand-crafted heirlooms are so important.

Vibrant Modern Spring at The Maxwell

Vibrant Modern Spring at The Maxwell

For our shoot, Vibrant Modern Spring at The Maxwell, Jillian and I wanted to create something that would represent us while working with vendors who had our same values. We also wanted to try and encourage brides to go bold with their colors while still staying traditional. We knew we wanted a real couple and were lucky enough to find Nick & Chrissy who currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Malick and Evelyne are both from South Africa and speak fluent French. The couple wanted to wait to throw their wedding party until after Evelyn delivered their baby later in the year, but they didn’t want to delay making their marriage official. They decided to opt for a small elopement at the Wake County Justice Center in Downtown Raleigh, followed by photos that doubled as their wedding portraits and a mini-maternity session!

When Sarah and Jake met for their first date, Sarah made sure to arrive early and to bring the one item she always brought on a first date – a book, The Poisoner’s Handbook. She nonchalantly placed it on the table without making mention of it, as she always did, to see how her date would react. It was her test, her way of knowing whether this person would take her as she is – in her full quirky, offbeat glory or whether it’d make them uncomfortable.

Josiah and Lauren’s Intimate New Hill Wedding

Young, in love, and overjoyed are all great ways to describe Josiah and Lauren. They met young and in many ways grew up together (and are still growing up together). Josiah is in the military, and recently he and Lauren decided to have a small elopement a Monroe Camp and Retreat in New Hill! It was such a great place for them to have their intimate wedding with their close family and friends!

How Much Do Wedding Photographers Cost?

How Much Do Wedding Photographers Cost?

If you’re looking for the average amount couples spend on their photographers, you’ll find that average is just that: average. Couples often underestimate the average cost of wedding photography, and “reasonable” prices don’t account for the details that matter to you. If you book based solely on what you feel is reasonable, you’re likely to end up a solo photographer with little experience, low-quality camera and equipment, and an end product that leaves you wanting.

Stories in the Stems

Stories in the Stems

There was a time when individuals grew and exchanged flowers to send decoded messages to one another. The symbolism of flowers and their meaning can be found throughout history in many cultures worldwide. Flowers are part of every important milestone in our lives, birthdays, graduation, recitals and plays, wedding, and funerals. There has been a long-standing connection between our feelings and flowers – we share them for joy, sympathy, love, and friendship. I propose we bring back those hidden messages and resurrect those ancient rituals for special moments, so that on those important days, we can intimately tell our stories with flowers.

Intimate Christmas Wedding at Castle McCulloch

Intimate Christmas Wedding at Castle McCulloch

Pedro & Katie planned an incredibly romantic winter wedding for a week before Christmas, with an intimate guest list of 30. Although the couple didn’t select their date based on the holidays, it definitely educated their design choices. One thing we really enjoyed about their design aesthetic was that it gave the warm and welcoming Christmas/holiday atmosphere using crisp black linens with white overlays and a pop of metallic red with the charger plates, as well as incorporating evergreen and white berries into the floral design. This gave a festive feel without being over-the-top elves and candy canes.
