Briana & Jesse’s geek chic galaxy-inspired wedding was on May the Fourth (be with you) in 2022. Their intimate, authentic wedding took place at a stunning venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a view of the sky that was the perfect setting for their special day. These two are lovers of Star Trek, Star Wars, board games, and video games, and know that the stars aligned to bring them together. They wanted a wedding day that truly reflected their relationship and had fewer than 60 guests in attendance, and this fandom design included purple, green, and blue to create a galaxy design that was tasteful and geek chic.

10 Things We Did Differently at Our Vow Renewal
A vow renewal is one of the most beautiful events. It combines our favorite parts of weddings with a calm confidence that’s rarely present between nearlyweds. Couples who choose to renew their vows have been married for a year or longer, and it’s a day to reflect on their journey together. It’s not about the start of their marriage – it’s about the continued commitment to choose and love one another. Often, the couple has experienced a significant life change or milestone that makes them want to celebrate again, and in many cases, the vow renewal experience differs significantly from the original wedding day. After years of marriage, a couple renewing their vows has a better understanding of who they are as individuals and a couple, what marriage means to them, and how they prioritize experiences and finances.

Ronnie and Royanna’s Christmas Elopement
Ronnie and Royanna’s Christmas elopement was at Church of the Covenant in Spring Lake. This small church has been completely rebuilt in the last few years because of flooding that occurred during Hurricane Florence. A member of the congregation wanted to keep the memories continue the church in that same building, so donations were made to cover the costs of the revamp. And what fun, now that Ronnie and Royanna could add to that long list of memories.
3 Reasons Every Couple Should Invest in a Wedding Album
When you hire a wedding photographer, their importance continues after the wedding day, since you’ll be eagerly awaiting your online gallery, not just to share with others but to experience your day all over again, through the eyes of an observer. Beyond your wedding itself, the photos are about preserving the special time you spent with the one you love and those people and moments that were worth enjoying on this important day.
The digital photos are great and are sure to be your most-liked social media posts of the year, but beyond the online experience, have you considered how you’ll keep and continue enjoying your images? In a few years, are you going to scroll back through your feed or pull out the old USB? At Anna Danielle Photography, we believe albums have so much value that they are included in every wedding collection we offer. Below are my Top 3 Reasons every couple should invest in a wedding album and why I believe these hand-crafted heirlooms are so important.
Vibrant Modern Spring at The Maxwell
For our shoot, Vibrant Modern Spring at The Maxwell, Jillian and I wanted to create something that would represent us while working with vendors who had our same values.
