My journey to becoming a wedding planner started when I became a General Manager and took on catering as part of my responsibilities. As I started working closely with couples, my passion for weddings grew. It all began when I booked my first wedding and connected with the planner. I was so intrigued by the industry that I picked her brain about how she got into it.
That’s when she told me about the Bridal Society, which is now known as the Certified Wedding Planner Society, and its certification program. After soul searching on what I ideally wanted to do as a career, I wasted no time and immediately enrolled in the program. As a gift to myself for my 30th birthday, I completed the certification and officially became a certified wedding planner.
Once I had the certification under my belt, I started taking steps to build my brand and my business. I knew I didn’t want to limit myself to just one type of wedding, but I had a special desire to focus on smaller, more intimate ceremonies. And now, I have the incredible opportunity to witness love in its purest form, in the most intimate settings. It’s truly amazing to feel the love filling the room firsthand.
I love to cook! I’ve been in hospitality to whole career just about, which all stemmed from learning to cook from my late grandma who cooked EVERYDAY for my papa. They were my prime example of love & marriage with over 65 years of marriage . For me cooking is my love language, it connects people in a different way.
In the Moment Package
- 2 Client Planning meetings
- Production of Itinerary/Timeline
- Review Vendor Contracts
- Confirm arrangements ; check delivery dates, arrival times, quantities of rentals, etc. with all vendors
- Confirmation of all required vendors
- Manage the flow and timing of the event.
- Act as a liaison between client and vendors.
- Use of extensive emergency kit.
- Up to 10 hours on site.
- Direct caterer, photographer, videographer, musicians, rentals, florist.
- Oversee setup/breakdown of ceremony to ensure commitments are being fulfilled.
- Setup all ceremony decor not handled by a specific vendor

Q: What is your favorite thing about elopements?
A: The intimacy of the moment. I would describe an elopement as a moment of love and commitment shared between a couple in an intimate setting.

A: Destination Elopement on an island 🏝️
Q: Tell us about your favorite elopement!
A: My favorite intimate wedding was my first wedding- they were a long time friend who I had the opportunity to watch grow. To witness and feel the love between them literally still brings tears to my eyes. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family and it was truly something to celebrate.
Teresa is a jewel to the event industry. She was our day of coordinator for our wedding on January 15, 2023, and my partner and I could not have been more pleased with the services provided!

She was contracted on short notice and was able to assist with all the final details leading up to our event with very little time to spare. During the event she took initiative to anticipate any potential issues that could arise and correct them in real time! She also ensured to oversee that all logistical details of the event, including a full post ceremony room flip, were seamless and fell within the designated timeline.
